Hey, can someone tell me why the semisolid platforms aren’t working? I’ve seen the example by @JR01; however, they are still not working. The game is here, in the grey building at the end of the second level.
most of the time it’s because you have to change things to fit your game, don’t just copy and paste it and expect it to work.
_how do I change it?
.-.
What kind of question is that lol, copy and paste what you need, then change the ray casts, collisions, messages, and everything needed to fit with your game. If you just copy and paste something and expect to work you’re mental.
I didn’t see anything I could change in that specific behavior so that’s why I’m asking
No idea then, make sure your globals are all set correctly and all the code is the same.
Your not extracting the Player’s Y into the “Players Y” Global behavior
_How do you do that?
.-.
the output of extracting the players y should go into the set of the players y global…
I’m sorry, but could anyone show me a screenshot? I’ve tried several times but it just won’t work.
No, lol.
If it’s not working, you aren’t doing it right.
The last help I’m giving:
Look through all the replies here, and look through the code in the original example.
Look at the player’s code in my example…
Is that…
Pepe?
yes for comedic purposes and because I randomly thought of him while I was figuring out how to change the appearance of the yellow frog who looks a lot like pepe
