Scheduled Downtime Tonight: Sept 21, Starting at 10pm Eastern time.

I’ll be upgrading the primary database tonight, which will require some down time.

I expect it to take at least an hour, but I’ll be posting updates here, as well as on Discord:

After the upgrade we should have:

  • Faster loading during peak hours
  • Faster saving during peak hours
  • Fewer cases of “site is full” messages when the site is busy

I apologize for the late notice, but please let me know if you have questions, and thanks for your patience.

May I ask, what are Flowlab’s peak-hours?

The school day I believe.

Flowlab is least active on Saturday-Sunday. It’s weird because it’s been like this even before it was used in school more.
Gods of five gets around 80-90 plays, drops to around 50 on Friday, and then is around 20-30 on Saturday and Sunday

You are so lucky. My game gets 1 play a day. Ok though. I’ve realized that. I am on every day I’ve figured that Flowlab is most active on Weekday Mornings.

Server Upgrade Complete

I’m still updating some configurations, but there should be no more downtime required. Feel free to use the site as normal (now with a better database!), and please let me know if you see any issues.
