Some free music ^.^

Hey all!

I like to make some chill 8-bit/16-bit music in my off-time and recently started publishing it all to YouTube. Not a large collection yet (about 20 - 25 songs at the moment) but I’m always working on more. If you’d like to sample some for your games, feel free, I just ask for credit:

They are accessible for FlowLab use here:

To use a song, go to the link above, click on the song you want to use, then copy and paste THAT link into FlowLab. So, to use the song “It’s Ok”, the link would be:

{https://filebin.net/l8x2jaggdav49np8/8_Bit_And_Chill_-_Its_Ok.mp3?t=8iosyx6z}

Take care!

I might use one of these… And don’t worry, I credit people for almost anything, so you’re good if I use it! XD

Really like the “It’s OK” track - could work well for some ambience

Hey @dapres87 - welcome back to the forums :slight_smile:

I really like the music! I only listened to a few tracks so far, but for whatever reason I just like that sparse, subtle, unassuming style you have. I think some of them would make fantastic game themes, so thanks for sharing.

Any chance you have the songs as .mp3 somewhere so that folks can use them in Flowlab without ripping from Youtube?

You earned yourself the “Epic Tune Bestower” badge for this post.

Thanks grazer! I’m hoping to get back into Flowlab soon too. I’ve got some decent ideas for games but college courses have me drowning in school work all this year :tired_face:

I have them in .wav format, but can easily make them mp3s. Any suggestions on free file uploading sites?

@dapres87 Behold… Filebin.net

Yeah that’s a place where you can upload your music and
It will give you the link to use it in your flowlab games.

In case you are confuzzled,
You upload the mp3 file and then you click on it.
At the top of the browser copy the link in the search bar.
The link in the search bar you copy IS the link you are supposed to use in the flowlab game.

Got it. Is Filebin the site you use? It says uploads are automatically cleared after a week.

That’s what I’m using now,
And I don’t know if that means that the link will stop working after one week.

If it stops working though, I’ll try to find another place. Deal?

ytmp3.cc has a good transfer system, but there are ads. Just ignore them.

That’s one way to do that…
I just use a built in video downloader in my browser
And then use cloudconvert.com to convert the file.
