Student hit back button and game is not gone

Student had 12 levels completed. Then hit the back button in chrome and all of it has disappeared. Does anyone have an idea what could have happened?

Make sure he hits “play” before he does anything because that triggers a save

Did he make a game and work on it a bit in class without going back to try it? (Which as jng said would trigger a save)

They’ve been working on it for weeks. Its’s been saved. It just up and disappeared one day. I’ve seen before, so I know it was there.
