Summer Flowjam '25 - Results are OUT! 🏆

Summer Flowjam 2025! It’s finally here!

Flowjam is a fun & beginner-friendly game jam / competition event where everyone gets a limited time (two weeks) to create a complete game from start to finish using the Flowlab game engine, based on a Theme.

This summer, the Flowjam starts this Saturday! On July 19th, and lasts until August 2nd!

Click in the big “Join Jam” button, in the itch jam page, to get notified when it starts!

Summer Flowjam 2025 will be our 12th Flowjam!

Start & End Date: July 19th, 2025 to August 2nd, 2025

The theme will be announced when the game jam begins, make sure to wait until the theme is announced to create your game!

What can I win?

The 1st Place winning developer will receive a Steam Deck - the next-generation portable gaming console by Valve!

It’s also a fun competition and event where the all Flowlab community, from free users, indies, and even students and teachers join & make a game at the same time. It’s a very rewarding experience where you can learn a lot, and get to play a finished game you made in 2 weeks

My favorite part about this Prize is that not only you can play Steam/PC games on this console, but you can also easily play YOUR OWN Flowlab games on Steam Deck! (You can play your exported Flowlab games for Windows, or directly on the console’s web browser)

Rating & Judging Criteria

Everyone who submits a game will rate the games from other participants in these 5 categories:

Creativity How unique are the graphics, the mechanics, and the overall design
Art How does the game look and sound
Fun How fun the game is to play
Theme How well the game adhered to and used the theme

Summer Flowjam 2025 has closed!

This jam, we got 34 unique and great Game submissions!
Many were submitted by big teams and fresh collaborations between the Flowlab community, and some solo games as well!
That’s amazing! Kudos to everyone who was able to finish a game this jam.
There are some really good-looking games with very unique mechanics and gameplay as well! We love to see it

I just finished up the sixth edition of the playing your games stream - lots of cool stuff in this one! I honestly have absolutely no clue which game will win. The quality continues to keep rising every jam.
