Here are some tips from previous Jammers that can help make your game the best it can be:
1. Submit your game a few hours before the deadline, just to be safe!
2. Prioritize finishing your “game loop” before it’s too late! Game-loop is the state where your game has a beginning and end, and players can complete it without your game breaking or getting “stuck”.
3. Take a few hours to create a nice and appealing Cover for your game.
A great cover makes a huge difference, as more people will be eager to click and try your game!
Make sure people can understand (or feel) what the game is about by showing a crucial part of the game and the Title!
4. Create an in-game Tutorial. A great tutorial is often overlooked, but it can make a huge difference, as it can guide your players so they don’t feel confused or give up playing your game in the first minutes.
If you don’t have time, leave all the Controls in the game description in a transparent way.
5. Stop adding things! It’s time to stop planning new stuff and ensure your game has all the essential parts to function and be playable.
Make a list of everything you have thought of and things you still need to do.
Prioritize Tasks into “must haves”, “if I have time”, and “Post jam update”.

6. Ask for feedback, make your friends playtest your game, playtest your game yourself a few times, and be careful with making significant changes before the deadline.

I hate Ferrari. I just saw another one on the way to church. It’s like I’m being pressured to finish my game soon.
Oh, my goodness. I hope I am not banned for this but, I am making a very creepy palace for my Flowjam game. No one give me evil ratings for this.
By the way, @sup3r87, when are you reviewing games?
Making something scary won’t get you banned.

On an unrelated note, Are featured games allowed to have mass genocide? Because in a future game of mine, an entire city goes to war and tens of thousands of people die. The whole game has a completely different tone from what I usually make.
