Yeah that’s the problem for me. Most of what I’ve made so far have been sloppily thrown together at the last minute. My artistic skills are only about 5/10 anyway, and it takes me a long time to make something that looks good passable as art.
You should go here and get some advice from Baron…

Pallet – The pallet is the colors you can use. Today’s is any color, or none. Here is a example, lets say the contest is cars. And the pallet is red. This means you can use any color red, but no other colors.
Extra – Extra is added to the daily contest. It just gives you extra reward coins when you add it in.

When did “The Artists Contest” all start? When I was working on a game with @The_KWASM, we had a contest to see who wanted to be the artist. The contest whas who-ever could draw a better red riding hood. After that contest, I decided that I would make a art contest for the whole community.
