I havenât been a big fan of some recent DreamWorks movies, but even I must admit they have some of the best animated movies Iâve seen (the older the better for the most part). As for the new Puss in Boots, I did very much appreciate the message the movie was trying to get across. Especially since a lot of the newer kids movies Iâve seen donât even have one, they just have (purposely) dumb humor for the sake of dumb humor.

Thatâs not a message, thatâs just the truth 
The point of the movie is to appreciate the life that youâre given, and not to take what you have for granted. Puss wanted his lives back, softpaws wanted someone she could trust, and goldilocks wanted a real family. At the end they learn that they donât need a wish for these things. Puss learned to take the life heâs given, and to make the best of it, Softpaws learns that she had someone she could trust, and Goldilocks learned that the bears were her family and that they would do anything for her, even if they werenât blood related.

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish has joined the ranks of my all time favorite movies alongside Spider-Man (2002), The LEGO Movie, Shrek, Minions: The Rise of Gru, Bourne Identity, Transformers (2007), Bumblebee, The Mummy (1999) and Harry Potter.

Dreamworld always was kind of in the shadow of Pixar and made a good movie every once in a while, but considering how Disney is falling apart, enforcing gay and homosexual situations onto children, Iâm starting to lean toward dreamworks movies regardless.
