I was outside eating on a picnic table when I saw this weird dot or water droplet or something idk on the picnic blanket on the table and I just stopped doing anything and just stared at it for like a good half minute to a minute lol.

I’m dead. Halo 5 launched very poorly. It didn’t even have Forge, and it also had severe networking problems with the multiplayer if I remember correctly. The advertising was also a sham. It implied an epic story about a new guy hunting down the Master Chief, but it ended up being nothing like the ads. I played around the time of launch and if I had Xbox Live Gold at the time, I don’t think I would have enjoyed the game. Also they removed splitscreen from the entire game just to make it stay at 60fps, which is terrible in my opinion since it makes the game more lonely and isolated. Halo used to be all about bringing people together and making new friends, and Halo 5 lost that by removing splitscreen, adding stricter SBMM, and making it harder to play with the same lobby/people again. Additionally, it was the first Halo to add microtransactions, which makes it look worse compared to its predecessors even though the microtransactions aren’t nearly as deviously devilish as its successor.
While I cannot deny enjoying H5’s campaign (gameplay) and Forge, I must say that the older Halos were made by people who just wanted to make games. Halo was better when it was made by people who actually played games for fun and not to make money to please the shareholders. Bungie back in the day were a group of gamers making games for people to enjoy and they succeeded. Also the older Halo games had more stable networking most of the time, and had actual good stories to go along with the gameplay.
A franchise you can compare to Halo is Star Wars. Halo 1-3 is the original trilogy, and 4-Infinite is the sequel trilogy. Halo 4 is like Force Awakens, it was hyped up before launch and people still like it despite its many shortcomings. It also is the new trilogy game to be most inspired by one of the older ones, because Halo 4 is based on Reach from a gameplay and technological perspective. Halo 5 is like the Last Jedi, really good on its own but absolutely detrimental to the franchise. And Halo Infinite is like the Rise of Skywalker because it was promised to be the finale and/or the saving grace that would bring back the greatness that the previous entry lost, but ends up being a piece of crap in every way that gets easily outshined by the entry before it.
In conclusion, 343 Industries sucks. They even brought in people who hated Halo to make Halo 4, which should show you that there was gonna be something wrong from the beginning. 343 may have done some things right here and there (MCC 2019-21 updates 
), but with every 1 step they take, they take 30 steps back. Halo 5 is bad generally because of what it did to the franchise. And I say this as someone who has played Halo starting in the 343 era, someone who grew up with Halo 5 and played that first, someone who was first introduced to the universe with Mega Bloks and a comic book about the Black Team of black-armored Spartans, someone who eagerly awaited the Halo TV show only to waste 50-60 minutes on one of the most atrociously hateful adaptations of anything I’ve ever seen, someone who has genuinely loved this franchise for years. After playing all of the Halo games (minus the non-FPS ones because my dad mistakenly thought I wouldn’t like an RTS game like Halo Wars 2 
), I can say that the games made by Bungie, particularly Halo Combat Evolved and its two direct sequels, are vastly superior to Halo 4 and 5. There’s just a massive difference in quality and purpose, as well as the reasons I stated above, that make the newer games just worse.

Also, @John_Shrekinson I hadn’t placed the order for devastator because I was still debating on it, but another company had a massive sale for combiners being a KO version of the Combiner Wars Bruticus and Defensor for only $13 apiece. There was a $10 shipping fee, but after reading the reviews, there wasn’t any negative reviews other than someone complaining that the joints are a little off alongside a Swindles foot not being able to stay on, but as a hobbyist, I can easily fix or use them as a base as a large custom. Once I got a PLA printer, I could always use the figures as a base and just upgrade them.
I wasn’t a big fan of the combiner war figures because they were very clunky and had those joint swivels on their chests, but they’re still solid figures and some are better than the studio series and their massive backpack issues.

Well, I barely go anywhere and just slave most of the week at my job. So I usually have spending money for small things like that.
I even just recently bought 2 $24 Lego sets because they were on sale.
I also have been saving for the last couple years, which I highly recommend, so it’s not like I’m living entirely by every paycheck.

I’ve been saving all of my paychecks to figure out how to afford college. It’s expensive but I hope it’s worth it. I can also strongly encourage everyone to save up what they have.

Yeah I didn’t have much money until this summer when I got a job. Now I’m almost at 1k in savings. If I go to college, hopefully I can get a ton of scholarships (have to work hard though).
