My favorite mobile game so far is Magic Survival. It’s not available on IOS, but it’s really fun. It is a finely crafted and intricately illustrated simple roguelite.

Card games like UNO or like TCG?
I enjoy card games and I started making my own, only it got very time consuming. The reason I personably enjoy TCG over others is the thrill of getting random cards and strategically combining different combos together. Like Magic the Gathering for instance. Those games are fun to play with friends, but it is a very pay to win game. Like a decent commander deck is around $200 and I’ve spent probably more than then on bundle boxes, individual cards, and booster sets, which I regret doing, but oh well. I’m only a couple cards away from completing a scuffed commander deck while a past friend of mine had over 20 or something decks.
So it’s only fun to an extent or with other players who have the same skill and card sets as you.

I passionately love card games. I also made a few of my own, getting one printed for an arts and crafts sale. I’m not really a big fan of collectible card games, but I used to be. They’re a big money sinkhole. I love playing them, and I certainly would more if I could afford it.

It’s random, but the odds are affected by what you pick. If you keep picking fireball, you’ll keep getting fireball upgrade options more often. If you’re trying to get new magics, try maxing out a few and some other options will appear more.
