Also, I’m not trying to continue this conflict, I was at work trying to quickly reply so it probably didn’t convey my message very clearly.
I didn’t mean to put a target or image on the flowlab discord or meant to persuade anyone to not join it, I was trying to explain that I personally had some bad encounters. Although most of them were on the forums, so it didn’t even relate to discord at all. I just kind of avoided the discord because we didn’t get along, not saying that they would target or think the same towards anyone else. I do apologize if it seemed like that.
And I know people change, so I’m sure it’s pretty peaceful on there and probably has been for a long time, but I just never felt like posting much on there, mostly since I didn’t have much to post about and didn’t exactly felt like I belonged much since it felt almost like an entirely different community on there, not saying it’s a bad thing, but kind of like the same feeling when you move and go to an entirely new school.
And I will admit, sometimes I just speak my mind without really properly thinking it over and this statement was a bit harsh. I didn’t think it would spark much of a debate on here or else I would have considered. I don’t even know if any of them are even active anymore since this was a while ago or if anyone of them is even active on the discord. I just heard some of them moved over since it was a more mature community than the forums, but I hesitated to join because of that.
Again, I didn’t mean to make anyone feel unsafe about the discord. I know a lot of the more experienced users are more active on there so I’m sure it’s probably a good community for better answers than what you might receive on the forums.
Just to clarify, I was at work during the posting of several of these posts and I didn’t even know how this debate started or that an argument even started until I recently got home. Since these posts were very much rushed between breaks, don’t take them literally since I didn’t put much thought into correcting them initially. I’ll probably just remove those posts anyway. I don’t want to tear apart friendships or the community because of events that have happened in the past. So, I admit I was in the wrong for that.
