The Devastation Optimus is really good from what I’ve seen and heard. He’s a deluxe class with no trailer though. He’s about 25 USD :), so he’s priced nicely for a budget. He’s very G1 accurate and his windows even have the same kind of cel-shading they do in the game.
Another relatively new OP around the same price is the Legacy United G1 universe Optimus. He’s made to be a new version of the original 1984 toy but with more articulation, like Missing Link Optimus, but unlike Missing Link, this version isn’t pretty much exactly the same mold with more joints, doesn’t include the trailer, doesn’t have any die-cast metal, and is much cheaper.

As someone who speaks Urdu I find it really funny how the abbreviation for Masters of the Universe, MOTU, is also the word fat in Urdu, despite the characters in MOTU being very buff and not very fat

I did get the G1 universe Optimus prime, which is basically the deluxe and affordable Missing Link. That is the most G1 accurate figure I own. I do have a legend figure that is also pretty close.

I do have an original G1 Ultra Magnus from 85 or 86 if you count that as a repainted Optimus mold.
