What’s your favorite thing about flowlab?
Mine is the ease of use. I learned flowlab in less than a month (mostly due to the community)
Without the community, I’d be making games with the run & jump bundle.
Without the community, I probably wouldn’t have wanted to get better at art.
Without the community, I’d probably have horrible grammar in the present day.
Without the community, I probably would have already quit my dream to be a game dev by now.
Without the community, I probably wouldn’t have such a dark sense of humor.
So my favorite thing about Flowlab would probably be the community.
(Or maybe how it’s better than Scratch)
Favorite part is the community for me, then it’s being able to just try whatever I want in my spare time
The GAMES
Cant go wrong with some of the games, top quality. Some of my personal favorites are: killer kindnes,
Parse-o-rhythm, misty hollow and gooey revenge. Theres a lot more these are just a few
My favorite part about Flowlab is that its UI is easy to navigate. I once I tried Scratch, and I could not figure out a single way to do anything, really. Either that, or it is the built-in physics.
They have tutorials, after i watched most videos i went on to remake fnaf on scratch.
My favourite thing about Flowlab is how easy the game-making process is with it.
The community. Honestly, when I started with my old account, I knew NOTHING. My brother and I were making ‘first games’ with the most basic sprites and behaviors possible. Actually, it wasn’t possible, it broke down anyways, XD. It was like learning a new language, that I’m not even fluent in yet.
And then I was that ‘Community’ button one day on my second account. 2021 was it? And boom.
It was like the EXACT definition of living under a rock. I joined the OTC (3) and started making frequent help requests where users like CodeAlpaca and Flying Fajita would chime in and teach me the solution to the problem. Over the past three years, I have learned so much here, and still have much yet to learn. I feel like my favorite, and the most important part of Flowlab and my gamedev life, has to be the Community.
