is this game just touhou platformer (it becomes a bullet hell midgame)
- Explode normal bullets on contact
- Destroy all bullets on screen (Touhou bomb)
Ok I’ve been experimenting with parried bullets exploding normal bullets on contact and it barely happens (Like extrez warned us) and I’ve recently been playing some sort of Touhou fangame that is similar to the real Touhou in terms of gameplay and now I’m wondering if parrying should basically act like a bomb (in Touhou)
Once this poll reaches at least 8 votes, I’ll be closing it
Id say we make it clear all projectiles but also make it deflect a projectile as well

Yeh but the projectile wouldnt explode
So what would it do instead?
It would just damage enemies, maybe peirce enemies
You can make destroying all bullets on screen a perk or a bonus to some item.
Okay so parried bullets will explode normal bullets upon contact however I’m afraid it might be useless because it barely happens even in environments like this
So rather than just doing what you all voted in the poll, I’m going to just ask you all why you voted what you chose so I can see if it’s valid or not.
Another thing I was thinking of was maybe adding both options (even though they contradict with each other) by adding parrying to the sword weapon and rather than destroying all bullets on screen the sword will do the explosion chain thingamajig or whatever
so the parry cooldown doesnt get in the way
what did I say about parry cooldowns? the sword will have the same cooldown as the parry (right click to parry using the sword)
