Hey guys, been working on a 3D engine (like with X, Y and Z coords). It works pretty well for now, and I know it’s janky, I’ve been working on it for less than a day

thats kinda how i did it on Holy fat cow! You got y coordinates objects with a little bit of head movement!
I need to get back into working on mine and redo the custom raycasting, but this is super impressive.

Woahhhh, this is awesome, also, for people who are not sure what the controls are, W and S move the character forwards or backwards, and the arrowkeys turn and rotate the character

Bad news, no more up and down looking, the engine doesnt support it well (like the original doom’s Engine)

What do you mean? It worked just fine when I played it.
well sort of, but only when the Y positon was at 0, if it wasn’t, it would lag and sometimes make it hard to understand what was happening

I did some more research, and it’s because it’s not a real 3D Engine so it has its limitations (just like looking down or up)

Yeah, that’s understandable. It’s still one of the best 3D games on Flowlab.

Very good 3D game. It’s actually pretty awesome.
I also have a feeling the blocks are watching me. Everywhere I turn they seem to make an attempt to face me. Creepy.
