Backup OTC of Destiny

People have gotten sick by the vaccine but not many have died. Also, the death rate may be low, but COVID spreads fast. If you’ve gotten it and felt fine, that’s great. Just make sure to be cautious :upside_down_face:

The vaccine has a higher death rate than covid. It obviously doesn’t spread, but thay logic doesn’t hold up.

its okay if you dont want it,
can we have a brighter topic though?
This one is sad.

Okay then, moving on :upside_down_face:

I’m getting the stats right now but if you don’t want them it’s fine, we don’t need Politics.

It would be better if not, but I respect your opinion on whatever you want to do :upside_down_face:

“Herd immunity” is when the vast majority of the population is immune, either through vaccines or natural built up antibodies after catching the virus yourself. It’s called “herd” immunity because if most of the “herd” is immune, it’s much less likely to spread around if one or two people happen to pick it up.

AFAIK, very few people have died from the vaccine… like less than 0.1% of the people who have died from COVID itself…

It still blows my mind how this has become a political issue. When I was growing up, politicians argued over whether or not we should increase taxes to balance the budget, or give tax cuts to help grow the economy… they argued over whether we should spend money to build a new military aircraft, or spend it on building a new interstate highway… stuff like that. Overall, pretty much everyone was in agreement that people shouldn’t die from diseases that can be vaccinated against.

The world today does not make any sense to me. :man_shrugging:

Doesn’t have to be a dark and depressing topic. Humanity has the capability to shut this virus down and make it nothing more than a cliff note in history books. The death tolls are already decreasing, and should eventually be down to near zero if things go right.

In older times, vaccines didn’t have stuff like mercury in them, and nobody died.
Also, @MelloJello saw me do the calculations, covid kills less than 0.1%.

There’s not supposed to be mercury in the vaccines now. I’m not saying there isn’t, but “from what I was told”, there wasn’t anything like that in mine.

And COVID has killed at least half a dozen people that my friends and family knew. That’s significant.

I know, I’m not saying it hasn’t killed people and i never did. But the vaccine has killed people I know.

I’m sorry.

Honestly. I don’t want to see anyone die, from either the virus or the vaccine.

I agree. So I think people should do research from unbiased sources which unfortunately no longer exist, but still research both sides and make an educated decision.

Too late for me, I already got stabbed twice. So did my girlfriend, and she has health issues that would make both the virus and possibly the vaccine itself dangerous. We’re both doing okay so far though.

Kind of impossible to make an educated decision when nobody other than the pharma companies (and possibly the FDA) themselves know exactly what’s in the vaccines.

I did kind of “take them at their word”. Because I don’t believe that my government wants me dead. I think they prefer me alive and able to pay taxes and serve military service (if they ever get so desperate as to need to draft middle aged guys).

I don’t think politicians care much about that.

Quit it with the politics

Yea. It honestly doesn’t matter. One side isn’t gonna persuade the other side, and we all end up hating each other in the end. Here’s a meme about the middle east:

Genius, I gotta say.

I said here’s a meme about the middle east, bingus
I mean, I can take it down if you like, but it was just a joke :upside_down_face:

No, I just find it ironic that that’s the meme
