Do you think you could put a link with the HTML already on it? I had tried it twice, and it doesn’t seem to be working for me @meburningslime .
I get onto your game @meburningslime , further than ever before, but then when clicking enter, it goes to a screen with a blank button… I’ve tried clicking it, but nothing is happening. I’m really trying!
@rcreger
You noted on #6 that shots didnt exacly line up with the crosshair. Thats completely intentional. Bullet deviation allows you to deal with crowds slightly better, but also encourages you to get up close to enemies. In Stock mode, this function is removed for the sake of precision.
Edit: As far as the shop goes, I havent really gotten around to it, especially since SB2s currency system isnt possible to put into SB3 with the current way things work, although Ive been considering bringing back the cores mechanic (killed enemies dropped them and you picked them up for multiplier, but they also worked as currency) but for a different reason, although a new mechanic would be good!
I just fixed that. Thanks!
Okay @CrimsonBlackGames , thank you for clearing that up for me! It really is one of FlowLab’s best games!
And @meburningslime , thanks! I’ll go into it now! (Praying to God I can finally play this! )
@rcreger although the main menu should have music. Not sure why thats not playing for you.
Oh, forgot, my high score in classic is 103k
Just added that feature today.
Sorry for all the inconveniences!!!
If you beat the Wall of Flesh, then you got to the point I built.
@meburningslime instantly remembered the 10-20 times the wall of flesh Rekt me
Someone got that STAR CANNON lying around here?
Well @meburningslime , I am so happy to have finally get to play this (somewhat)! So here is what I thought about it:
- Well, it did lag still, but I still got the idea. One thing is that the walking animation… Looks like something else. Could you make the legs move as well, so the player gets a better understanding?
- I wasn’t expecting that you were going to make the player actually mine and place stuff! That is great, and I haven’t seen that before till now (In FlowLab, of course)!
- The artwork could get a little finer, but its simplicity suits well. But with the simplicity, some of the enemies look strange next to it.
- The sounds are a bit strange (I’ve actually, I know, I know, haven’t played Terraria since forever, and I can’t remember how the noises originally sounded, so if that is what it’s supposed to be, don’t mind this).
- Woah!? The background changes from day… To night?? Absolutely amazing, bravo, well done!
- Is he supposed to be able to jump that high?
- One thing I ran into is that when coming from underground, I didn’t see there was an actually ground block and not a background ground block. Maybe you should make it easier to tell apart, because it took a while for my small brain to wrap around it
- The chests are a nice touch, and it is fun to go down underground to find stuff!
- I want to see more animations, to be completely honest, like an opening chest one, being attacked one, or attacking one. The possibilities!
- This is pretty big, and there seems to always be something I missed (You seem to have a few games like this)!
Wow, I’m so happy I could finally play this! I can tell you put a lot of work into this, especially making it so you can destroy and place things. And not even mentioning the sky cycle! This opens up a lot of doors for making games on FlowLab!
(Ratings out of 10) Though how much I loved this, it still isn’t finished… Yes, I’m giving it a 7.5/10, but that is only because I know there is going to be many improvements and updates that would make it 11/10 if I gave you an 8.5 right now. Great work, and keep on going!
I really don’t know @CrimsonBlackGames . If you’re trying to get higher than an 8.5/10, since you have clarified some of the problems I’ve had, I happily and officially give a 9/10!
Its not that Im aiming to boost my score, but I would like to find out whats messing up, so that I can improve the game.
Well, either way, @CrimsonBlackGames , it should have worked on this (It just may have been my computer). Believe me, Starblast and its series deserves that score.
I think i may have destroyed the second level of slime slay…
I saw that in @Crigence 's review… What happened?
Anyways, Im glad you enjoyed my game! You should try SB2 (if it still works)
The shop there actually is complete
I actually need to start marking some of these request’s down, there is so many right now! I’ve got about 3 more for @meburningslime , and I will do Starblast 2 for you afterwards, @CrimsonBlackGames .
P.S., I’m going to do these tomorrow, so I don’t just leave you guys hanging. (And I only got like 5,000 or something in Starblast 3… How in the world?) Thanks!
Hey @rcreger I just saw my review… THANK YOU!!!
PS the sounds were actually from terraria. I will work on the animations, but the running animation for the player IS a copy from the original game. Thanks again!
