@“Daniel Folston” do you have something to ask?
Hey @Crigence , it is so nice of you to have Bored Reviews, @“Daniel Folston” 's Game review! and @meburningslime 's Slimers Reviews. That is so nice of you! Thanks you so much!
So, I’m back @meburningslime , and this is the review for “Wizarding World!”, and it was pretty nice to play! This is what I thought about it:
- It would be better if you could give the player which button to click to use the spell when you touch the book, because it took me a bit to find out you had to use the number keys.
- The variety of attacks AND enemies is fantastic! The gameplay did not bore me for a second!
- Is the random wizard supposed to tell you what you are supposed to do? The game needs a bit more of story, like why are you here? Who are you even fighting right now?
- The way you put in the puzzles are great! And the bounce blocks are a lot better than just using ladders!
- Really nice with making it so you can destroy barrels and health comes out. I like how they have meaning, and also gives you a chance to beat the game.
- There should be some sort of “reward” at the end of the game, such as he becomes a great wizard or something.
- You have a great taste in music for you games. It actually fits well!
- The game would be even better longer. It seemed cut short, especially when you have completed everything.
- Animations… You need animations. Animations give games life, instead of a photograph in a picture frame.
- The art is decent, you actually should keep it the way it is. Just put the animations in, such as walking, casting a spell, destruction of barrels, enemy deaths, etc.
This was enjoyable, just wished it could have continued to be longer. Definitely put in messages as you touch different books to tell you which key to press for the certain spell you unlocked. Other than that, and animations, pretty nice!
(Ratings out of 10) I give this a 6.5/10, as it was just cut too short, even with all the great qualities it has. All the variety is good, in just about everything, and the gameplay is magnificent. Just falls a bit short. I will be reviewing your next game, “robo tack” next. Thanks, and good luck!
This is robo tack (Yes, it is supposed to be lower cased). It lagged a bit for some reason, but then I saw the one below the regular was the HTML5 version, which works. Thanks @meburningslime !(And I got to wave 65 with the score of 567, by the way) This is what I had thought:
- Nice music in the menu, but the beginning menu looks very plain, and the music ends in the menu, and in the game.
- Music is good in-game as well, but like I said, ends. And speaking of music, some sound affects would be nice when shooting and with the impact of the enemies.
- I like how they spawn out of the walls. It makes you feel small, and worry, trying to survive. Very well done!
- Is it supposed to be like a space ship? Like the other game, it’s gravity is a bit strange.
- The variety of enemies and weapons are less, but nonetheless seems fine. I actually didn’t mind it.
- When you are about to die, some animations of a damaged character would be cool. Maybe animations for background, and enemy and self death as well.
- Seemed very smooth, and I did like the gameplay. Very enjoyable!
- A few more levels maybe, consisting of different enemies? Maybe a boss? Or you could make another mode, this could be infinite with the waves, and maybe a campaign. Just a thought.
- The art is simple, but fitting. It all ties together.
- The enemies seem to do different things, but I’d like to see more. Like ones that are even faster. And with that idea, maybe power ups? So that yourself could go faster as well.
This seems a bit unfinished, to be honest, and possibly move some things around in the menu, as some of it overlaps each other. However, it was fun to play, and getting higher scores each time you play is pretty fun!
(Ratings out of 10) I give this a fine 6.5/10. Like your other game, “Wizarding World”, it just seemed like more could be added to this. All your games seem to have great potential, and hopefully this gives you a small push into the right direction. Good luck, and I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
Thank you so much! I will be sure to update these.
Oh, and I cant update the spacey movement without recoding the whole thing.
Onto Starblast 2 by @CrimsonBlackGames ! I think this may be the first Featured Game I’m reviewing, so I have high expectations. Here is what I had thought:
- VERY IMPRESSIVE intro-menu! Was not expecting that when getting on! And yes, I can hear the music this time
- I like all of these modes! There is so much to choose from, so it would be hard to get bored from this (Heh, get it? Bored Reviews? I though it was funny, but never mind).
- I like the gameplay, and there is so much variety in enemies! Not that they look different, but they each seem to do different things, too! Amazing job!
- Each of these menus have so much work put into them. Astonishing!
- Wow! Great job with this shop! Like everything else, so much to choose from!
- Some of the icons are a bit small to see, such as the “back” icon. I had to try and find it in the shop.
- I like the gameplay so much! And the graphics never fail in this style of game! Though those fancy explosions as shown in Starblast 3 are not in it…
- I like how you are able to see all the scores you had in each mode. Very nice touch!
- I’m just imagining how much work you put into that radius or red that follows those enemies. Not to mention all the testing, too!
- The fonts are a bit strange, but seem to fit in somehow.
You have no idea how hard it is to try to find something wrong with this one! All that I had a complication with was that tiny back icon. Amazing, just purely amazing work! This actually deserves to be featured, especially with the obvious amount of work put into this.
(Ratings out of 10) I can’t believe it, but this actually deserves a 9.5/10 right off it. This deserves a good score, and is one of FlowLab’s finest games! The Starblast series actually seems (Besides also the Graveyard by @Latif , Awakening by @PixelPizza , Fireball.io 2 by @Luminous and Color Quest by @Pokemario - just naming what I thought were some of the best) to be the face of FlowLab! Fantastic job! This game honestly seems completely done, and tested top from bottom! Bravo!
Alright @meburningslime , can’t wait to see what you do with it! It is actually probably better to not reprogram, as that usually just messes up games. Good luck!
@meburningslime thank you. I never thought someone would take inspiration form one of my games, You have no idea how much this means to me.
Your game is amazing @nkbulider . It’s got the best score on @Crigence 's review! Nice work!
thanks bro
Hey, if you want me to, @nkbulider , I could give your game, A Stick Game, a review if you like.
Sure thanks
First thing I think is that “This game needs more likes!”, @nkbulider ! (Of course I already gave it one) Here is my thoughts about it:
- Well, the play button looks a bit weird, but it seems like it is the style of the game, as even the title is like this. If that is what you were going for, great job!
- Thank, oh thank you for putting the objective in the game! I would usually either have to go into the description or have to figure it out.
- This has some sick animations(Especially the “laser shoot” animation)! But I also realized that it seemed a bit lifeless when you weren’t moving. I suggest you make an idle animation, or some animations for the background.
- I’m not sure why you made the space bar the jump, but it is easy to get used to.
- In the first level, there seems to be not really a variety of enemies. I had also seen you don’t have any more objects, which is a shame, since I would have liked to see more enemies.
- There is some decent sound affects, but that punch noise is a bit too loud and over-dramatized.
- The artwork is pretty nice, with a lot of realism with it, and the clouds are very unique in art style. Great job!
- A lot of these animations look like they’ve had a lot of work put into them, from the character to those energy ball recharge’s. Excellent work with those!
- Enemies are actually pretty deadly, and make a good foe, even though there are limited enemies.
- You made some fantastic puzzles for this game. Well done! (Though I wish there was more of a story put along with it).
Well, this is the first time I’ve asked to review something, mainly because I was getting to the end of the list, and I wanted something to do, so thank you for letting me! I thought this was overall good, and I honestly think this should be one of the front page games!
(Ratings out of 10) I give this an 8.5/10, since you are also getting it reviewed by @Crigence as well. I have also played this game before as well. I can’t wait of what else you do with it! Thank you for letting me review, and good luck!

how would you make it better?
Marvel: the avengers infinity wars was the greatest crossover ever!
me: The crigence review, bored reviews, Game review and slimes review!
@Simple_doge5 Maybe we could all make a game together?
…And maybe slay a purple evil shrek along the way?
Hey @Toddt , couldn’t wait to review your game (Star Wars Survival). This is what I thought about it (Or "How I would make it better):
- The menu is great, and very nice in design. But some music to go along with this will help out a LOT more.
- The “Game Over” screen is really nice! Fits the style of the game very well.
- I like how there is some different enemies with different styles, but I realized there is no sound in this game. Having sound will help a lot!
- The artwork is pretty nice and suits well, and nothing does not fit with the style.
- Some animations for the enemies will give this game a better sense of life.
- The description of the game is good, but do you think you could also put instructions in-game as well (I only say this because I know a lot of people don’t feel like looking at the description)
- It is a bit hard to click will also moving around, to be completely honest. But there is no bugs, as far as I have seen.
- Really nice that you put the score you got at the bottom of the “Game Over” screen. Many other games only reveal it in the menu.
- A way to change your skin of it change when damage is dealt to you would be nice.
- Some movement in the menus would be really nice. You can check out Starblast 2 by @CrimsonBlackGames to see what I mean.
It is pretty good, and can keep you occupied (As it is an ongoing game till you die) as you try to beat your last high score. The art is suitable for this game, and very nice work! I’ve seen other games like this, but you definitely added in bits and pieces that improved it!
(Ratings out of 10) I give this a solid 7/10, only because it lacked of some sound/noise and some more animations, especially for the enemies. Other than that, very nice work! Good luck!
@meburningslime … A purple Shrek? Do those exist? I want to find one  !
