Dragon Slayer Excalibur

Story

Kaelen, a slave born brutal pit fighter, pulls the legendary sword Excalibur from its stone, breaking the chains of his slavery. Determined to carve his own destiny, he sets out to slay the dragon terrorizing the land in hopes of earning knighthood. Along his journey, Kaelen is joined by Morrigan a witch, and Balthar a disgraced knight, both seeking redemption. Together, they face twisted monsters born of sin and corruption, learning that the world itself is a blood-soaked reflection of human depravity.

The Golden Slaughterhouse

  • Environment: A glittering vault of treasure, bloodstains splattering the gold, with mutilated corpses of those who once hoarded the riches.
  • Monsters: Gold-encrusted Goblins, whose bodies are fused with precious metals. Their flesh peels away as they attack, spilling molten gold.
  • Boss: The Corpulent Banker, a grotesque, obese creature who vomits acid and molten gold onto the battlefield. His belly is torn open, with intestines dragging behind him.

a slave, man that reminds me of my relative back in africa in 1820 :)

I am part African american, but the reason why I chose him to be originally a slave is for plot conflict and social divide. (people often root for characters who start from nothing on their journey to reach the top.)

Blasphemous is awesome! One of my favorite metroidvanias, the sequel is probably one of my favorite games in general.
