Envoy has released on steam and itch!!
It finally happened! This was supposed to be done… oh god, over 4 months ago. But then I moved to college, my personal compass of the fabric of time shattered and thus the release was pushed down the list. But since my break I was able to get to it and now we’re finally here!!
Couple things. First, the steam version is no different from the web version. This is why the game is available for free on both platforms. Obviously the game can be downloaded as an .exe or an .app, but otherwise it exhibits the same behavior as the web version.
Second, if you can, please write a review of the game on steam!! Notice I didn’t say positive review, just A review. You’ve probably been told this by a lot of developers but if you haven’t, reviews, good OR bad, push a game up the discoverability lists and allow more people to see and play it (although having mostly positive reviews helps massively). Obviously, be honest about the game in your review if you write one. I’m not depending on envoy to feed myself, but it would be nice for more people to enjoy the game :).
Also, steam told me that they weren’t able to verify the game for macOS, so if you have any issues with that, please report it!
