I actually had more spare time than most. Even when I am working full time, one of the perks of being an adult is that when I’m not at work, I get to do whatever I want to in my spare time. I can stay up all night if I want to. I don’t have to do the dishes or clean my room if I don’t want to. Heck, I can just order in pizza and drink Red Bull and play video games nonstop in my spare time.
I don’t have much experience at all with coding, and the IQ part is questionable… you actually start losing brain cells faster than they regenerate once you reach a certain age. However, the brain’s prefrontal cortex does not fully develop until the age of 25. And most adults do have a lot more life experience to borrow ideas from. I’ve probably spent a lot more time playing video games than 2 or 3 of the younger members here combined. Every game idea I have is at least partially borrowed from other games I’ve played over the years.
Don’t ever fall into the trap of thinking that you’re a failure if you haven’t accomplished something great by the age of 18. My greatest accomplishments before 18 were limited to things like getting a good report card, a high score on a test, or winning a high school wrestling match. Nothing that could be considered noteworthy in the grand scheme of things. You’ve got plenty of time to develop and expand on your skills.
Yes, it gives protagonists relatable subjects to talk about and also gives characters personality. I get it though, if you’re writing a business prompt it should be formal indeed.
I always got a good laugh when one of my high paid, highly educated managers would host a meeting or presentation or send out an official company email or something, and it was done in Comic Sans font and filled with spelling and grammatical errors
I’m sorry, you’re paying this guy how much??? You should ask for your money back, and question the legitimacy of his degree.
I try to help when I can, but most of the questions on here are about things I don’t know how to do either. And when I try to come up with a possible solution and it doesn’t work, people be like “your code is bad and you should feel bad.”
I’m willing to help you, as long as you understand that my advice is mostly subjective, and may not be what you want to hear. After all, I am not the god of games who gets to determine which games are good and which ones are bad. All I can do is tell people what I personally liked and didn’t like about their games. For example, I might say the game was too hard, someone else might say it was too easy. It all comes down to opinion and what your target audience is.
