Jojo’s bizarre adventure is an anime that’s quite popular. All of the people in there are like super buff and huge, yet most of the characters are only fifteen years of age.
It’s a little weird which is why I never watched it, but it’s really popular among the meme fanbase.

Yeah, I did finally look it up  Not really my thing. I’m actually relieved it’s an anime, I thought it had something to do with that annoying girl from Nickelodeon.

There were some guys on my high school football team who were crazy huge like that, but they were also injecting crazy stuff into their bodies to get that way…

The two terms are similar. I used sensai instead because I was trying to avoid the “senpai noticed me!” meme reference.

I don’t know all of my anime memes, because I don’t follow the genre. But I do use the internet often enough to see the references everywhere. I keep up with just enough to sort of have an idea of what’s going on, without actually partaking in all of it myself. I mostly stick to memes I can relate to.

Senpai also refers to senior which is why a lot of anime’s the more younger student calls everyone senpai. At first I thought something was wrong, but senpai actually means senior or higher rank.

Yep. If I’m understanding correctly, sensai is technically higher rank because it’s an officially designated teacher. Vs. a senpai who is more on the level of tutor. Technically sensai outranks senpai; however, in terms of social hierarchies, it’s usually preferable to be looked up favorably by your higher ranked peers vs. the actual teacher. Basically on a sports team, senpai would be the team captain, sensai would be the coach.
