How many times can a thread title be edited

Title - I bring this up because in the Sol thread, I change the title with most announcements to let the community know. But it’s not letting me do that anymore. Is there a limit to editing the titles @grazer? Thanks:)

I think so. I just got promoted to “regular” (trust level 3), and one of the abilities listed was to recategorize topics and rename them. I think that you would be able to rename your topic again once you reach regular status.

I checked it by going to my profile and looking expanding the summary. You’ll find a list of stats, including the tier status.

Well this sucks cause I always update the title of my dead risen game discussion and yes I changed the name for the third time lol I wonder if it aplies to me to or will it not make me change it any more

Hold up, I just noticed that I can edit other people’s topic titles even though the topic does not belong to me…

Yeah, I’m not going to touch that button unless I really need to, which hopefully will be never.

Yup, @Ramshacklegamestudios got trust level 3 at the same time as me. We can both edit other people’s titles and categories, but their discussions remain in their control.

You can edit the title as much as you want, but if the discussion was created before the new forum (before Discourse) was added, you can’t edit the post anymore.

Only posts made after Discourse was integrated can be edited. This is also why I remade my post that explains the Homing Missile Example.
