And yeah… the underaged mascot… it wouldn’t have been nearly as cringe worthy had they not explicitly stated upfront that she is a high school student … if that’s meant to lure more “mature” audiences? I really don’t think that’s the kind of “maturity” that this, or any forum, needs. I for one absolutely do not need to end up on some FBI watch list because I used Flowlab.

At first I thought it was a unique idea, but afterwards I’m starting to doubt it.
I can’t really say I’m not guilty cause I made the LEGO version which caused the fan art to start, but the LEGO version is just a brick and nothing inappropriate with it either. But if flowlab does end up going down that path I’ll probably leave the forums too. At least it depends on what the final art for her is, and I’ll stand against it, if it becomes too not PG.

Sorry for bringing this up, but I will stand for this if anything weird starts up in the future.
For now it’s just anime fan art at the moment, so I won’t say anything until it’s final form, or whatever they have in store for the character.

I am still fine with Flow-chan as a mascot for Flowlab. I don’t mind about how she is anime themed, and how she is high-school aged, yatta yatta. I do have one major concern, though. Something I’m trying to do when creating my Dark Ninja characters is to not… oversexualize them, or give anyone any ideas that they should… be… oversexualized. Make them seem like actual people rather than some icon for people to simp over. So, I would give “Flow-chan” clothing or style that people would actually wear whenever they are out in public. Or perhaps give her some other fashion style that makes her stand out, again while avoiding to oversexualize her. Take a look at Galactic Games’ mascot, for example

My thoughts is similar to @TGW 's - but I’m thinking (hoping) it won’t be something that get’s out of hand, and wont be inappropriate in any meaning of the word. That’s my hope, and that’s all I really have to say on the subject, really.

That’s all I’m going to say on this. I’m so glad we’re all trying to make a family-friendly community.
