Just in time for Christmas (barely), there is a new Flowlab update:

  • Improved drawing performance

  • Line Tool
  • Rect (empty or filled)
  • Circle (empty or filled)
  • Selection (cut, copy, & paste)
  • Rotate
  • Flip horizontal
  • Flip vertical
  • Text Tool

:christmas_tree: Tool Fixes/Improvements

  • Keyboard shortcuts for most tools
  • Per-tool cursors
  • Pen has ‘pixel perfect’ mode
  • Translate/Shift tool no longer truncates pixels
  • Improved zoom (mousewheel works too!)
  • Better resize
  • Browse panel usability tweaks

:snowflake: New Animation Editor

  • Improved interface
  • Onion Skin mode
  • Can drag to arrange frames
  • Create new frame from from any frame
  • Scrollbar for frame list

:star2: New Palette Selector

  • includes lots of palettes!

:socks: New Importer

  • streamlined uploads with drag & drop
  • import GIF animations
  • adjust image scale and sprite resize when importing

:bell: lots more fixes!

when you try to fill something a pixel shows up under the cursor and makes it pretty difficult to see what’s underneath it

It took me a little bit to figure it out, but basically you can select the area you want to move copy it then drag it to the area you want it then paste it. I know it’s not a great explanation, but i’ll go more in-depth if you need me to.

Also - I just realized that the “Per-tool cursors” didn’t actually get deployed :crying_cat_face:

I actually did upload it just now though, so the tools really do have their correct cursors now.
