If you ever dare to peek at the pasteboards in my games you will see lots of controller parent blocks. I use them for everything.

If anyone ever dares peeking at the code in my games, their eyes will cross and roll around in their heads and for the next 2-3 days, the world will appear to be upside down in colors of blue and grey, except for the sun which will be a radiant flashing violet, and moving objects will leave neon green chasers behind them. They might also experience dizziness, headaches, nausea, and begin questioning the nature of reality itself.
But it’s okay. Those noodles tend to unravel themselves within 24-48 hours in most individuals. If your symptoms persist longer than 72 hours, you should consult your doctor immediately.

You could just have parents sending messages to themselves, and then each child that you want to have do different things can still do it, i just think it’s easier to send messages to objects with it.
