I read the meme and I even saw the curse word and didn’t think nothing about it. I actually found It funny.
I didn’t flag it, but if I was more aware I would have said something.
Anyway, my 3D printer came on today. I’m still cleaning off some space in my room for it. Hopefully I’ll have it up and running come tomorrow.
I’m thinking about buying one now that I have more money to spend.
I think I’ve heard they can smell a little, though I haven’t done research into them
I think it depends on the printer, like I know filament printers don’t tend to smell but resin ones do.
The fumes of a printer are extremely unhealthy, I recommend keeping a window open or something when you use it.
I haven’t heard anything for PLA printers smelling and I’ve worked with a 3D pen many times before with the same filament and it never gave off any smell.
I know resin printers are pretty dangerous as everytime you cut supports or resin pieces, it emits dust that can be harmful to breath in. I originally planned to get a resin printer, but you’re limited on larger scale projects and resin costs so much more. Also resin is cured by UV rays so if I had some resin on my hand and I walked outside, it would literally burn straight to my bone. A friend of mine experienced this when he got resin on his gloves and it burned straight to his skin.
So I turned away a resin printer and got a PLA printer that was much cheaper and safer.
Only Transformers Fans will get this!
Does anyone else just want to buy some binoculars and watch birds?…or just me?
Edit: I’m going to order some binoculars tomorrow morning.
I got a glock 3D birdwatching and nonfiction book with 3D glasses for kids in my rari
I got opera glasses at Red Cross five years ago and have never been in need for binocs. They were 99 cents. Quality investment.
Depends, what kind of birds?
I like birds of prey. . .
I had a couple pairs of binoculars, but I only used them a few times.
My grandma is really into bird watching and has several feeders in her backyard.
Also we came home one day to find a baby humming bird on the ground with a broken wing. Not many people have actually seen a humming bird up close, but I actually got to hold one. Sadly we took care of it, which was illegal to hold a humming bird for a long period of time because they were protected for some reason.
Anyway we tried to nourish it back to health and it still wouldn’t fly, so we took it to some wildlife rescue place which wasn’t the cleanest of facilities, but at least we tried.
I can’t wait for duck tail run tomorrow in Indiana. It takes place at the same time as James Dean Days and it basically a huge flea market and swap meet. Anything car related is probably there and it’s always neat to see older cars from the many generations.
May have to bring out my flowlab T-shirt I won many flowjams ago. I only ever wore it like once since it was more of a trophy than clothing.
Sooo . . . what’s everyone up to?
Trying to make time for flowlab, but there’s been SO MUCH going on lately (Also trying to finish learning dutch)
That sounds like fun.
It is, but once you know enough languages you start to make everything harder on yourself. ESPECIALLY writing. Speaking is much easier in my opinion, but writing can be a pain. English being my 2nd language makes it much easier for me to communicate here, otherwise I have difficulty writing in my 3rd language and now 4th
commas are still confusing to me
