The Scepter Foundation - Refraction

It’s a good idea, but I’m not entirely sure if I’ll be able to add it, since I don’t really have much of a combat system. I do plan on adding a pistol, but only to scare off a new vent dwelling entity I plan to add soon.

Sorry about foil man. I haven’t forgot about him, but I just haven’t thought of a use for him at the moment. I’ve just been too busy in configuring items and such.

I didn’t mean it like that, I’m making a new character better than him.

I’m not entirely sure if I’ll add my other games as Easter eggs. I want to include all other Scepter Foundation games in one such as Flee, The Heuchler, and possibly Algiophobia. But my other games were just fun simple games I made during my education on flowlab.

The current Easter egg would be some sort of a gallery that you can find that shows some art of the old game and maybe some lore of Subject: 000, but that’s all I thought far enough ahead for.

I knew what you meant, but I still felt kinda bad because you suggested a character and I kept putting him off.

But yeah if you have another idea then go for it. I’m all ears.

Thank you! It’s still a little buggy since the text hasn’t been changed along with the title, but the general theme is there.

The door opening animation was really smooth also.

Yeah I updated the art on the new character to be slightly larger than the old art. But I have yet to change the art of all of the older NPCs so when you play the demo it’s really distorted.

I got lazy and didn’t even use an animation, lol. I just had two separate door objects move slowly apart with a camera shake example.

To the North was an interesting concept I came up with as I was as trying to sleep one night. I thought the idea of a simple picket sign trying to find his friends would be interesting so I went for it. Now that I think about it, the entire game is more of a fever dream than a game at all, but I thought it was a pretty decent plat former and sadly I eventually cancelled it due to limited objects, but I always wanted to return back to it.

I could, but trying to transfer all of the items back into their older animations would probably deep fry the game. Considering everything got scaled up a bit, so walls wouldn’t be touching anymore and other hit box issues.

I could allow it to teleport you to an area that looks like the old art, but that would take a few extra objects I’m not entirely sure I have.

Understandable, have a great day. Also, I just realized that what you’re doing to The Facility is what I did to taile gamougg 3 but on a much larger scale.

This guy’s name is, “Material” (Very Creative Name):
He is sort of like the Heuchler (Did I spell that right?)
But can morph into materials. And could then use it to disguise itself.
It’s like a camouflage thing. His main form is a black and white substance sort of similar to that Skeleton Head thing, and uses his main form to eat his prey.

I made an art for his main form if you wanted to see it:
New Piskel (2)

Nice. The only thing I can think of is that I already have too many entities that have a shadowy appearance already such as The Ceramic Skull and the Wraiths, so I’m not entirely sure if I could use the entire concept of his design, but maybe something similar.

Now for its ability, it’s pretty cool. Being able to turn himself into materials or objects. Whereas the Heuchler only could turn into other people. Maybe I could add him into the game as he disguises into objects that you need such as key cards and such, but when you get to close he jumps into his normal form and attacks you.
Could be a great way to lure prey.

Then flip it around and give him a light appearance in stark contrast to the shadowy fellas

If you want, you can invert the colors of it’s main form.
