The Scepter Foundation - Refraction

Here’s a concept for Crystal Guardine. After looking at it finished, I know none of the proportions are probably correct, but considering it’s my first time drawing a female character of the series, I can’t really complain. She’s supposed to also have wings, but I’m using the excuse that it’s hidden under her jacket because I don’t feel like drawing it. There was also supposed to be fire emitting from her hand, but since its 4:50am for me right now, and I simply didn’t feel like drawing fire, I decided against it so it’s just a cringe pose.

Also if the drawing is too suggestive then I can blur it. I know there was some concern on the art discussion earlier so I wasn’t for sure if this was borderline or not. But since she was more of a roque, Crystal wore light armor and attire to move easily, despite being a dragon-like race which is more known for heavy defense, but who cares.

Yeah, the proportions are nearly perfect!

I would rather the tail have a more relaxed feel though, I think that would make this perfect

I was trying to make it seem like she was waving her tail back and forth, but oh well.

Also her body was made to look somewhat tensed up because she was originally supposed to be wielding flames in her hand, but I didn’t feel like drawing it.

Might be too gory for some users

Here’s another rough sketch. Subject: 009 defeating an SCU guard.

I’m still trying to figure out a good model for The Ceramic Skull, but I like the idea of a skeleton like body to match the theme of the Skull.

Although humans have mostly been in control on Earth and all operations of the Scepter Foundation, it has been found out that not all major members are entirely human.

The final Overseer was announced late May 20[Redacted] who would be the Foundations Treasury and overlook all fund and expenses for current and future projects.

It was never realized that he wasn’t human.

Farhan Odom was the 8th elected overseer at the time. With his place being the 7th current at the council. The Overseers weren’t created until 1996. His election was shortly after the Wystan Program and Rylie Leitner had replaced him.

He was first recruited as an SCU captain and made his way up to Site Administrator in Site: 04 and eventually made his way to Overseer.

Although he was thought to be human because of his pale pigmentation of his skin, which made him look very sickly, but he never was. He was of another species who took refuge on Earth during some conflict between the Foremakers. His homeworld was greatly devastated by the war and he eventually made his way to Earth by basically hitchhiking with space pirates from Ytherli.

When he arrived, he took part in human traditions in the US and eventually became an actual citizen. He was greatly interested in politics, but could never understand the governmental structure very well until he came across the Foundation which contained other entities and it peaked his interest.

Soon after, he hired on as a guard and worked his way up for over 20 years.

After some investigation was done, it was found that he wasn’t human at all because of his strange habits and the lack of food consumption. But he had done nothing against the Foundation or ever had intentions of doing so. Since other entities are also unknown to him, he didn’t have any regrets in their containment except he did speak up against the termination and containment of 10-Bs and other beings who came from Foremaker ruled nations.

Johnathon Lawrence was never informed of this, but George Hast insisted of a plan to remove him of his position and arrest Farhan Odom, but as he spoke with Walter William of it, nothing could be done as he had done nothing against the Articles of Code and there was no rule stating an entity could have political power in the Foundation as it was never foreseen to even be possible.
After George Hast planned a secret mission to silently remove Farhan from his position, Farhan was informed by another entity who was a High Chieftain under Hast.
He then communicated with the rest of the council that the funds and savings for the entire Foundation were locked under a code that can’t be deciphered by human tongue and that only he could access the money and distribute it across the Foundation. He then told the other Overseers what the password was, but they didn’t know even how to use it or what he even said.
Farhan explained that he would great-fully give up his position to a future Overseer if he knew he was found guilty of any crimes he had committed, but as the Treasurer of the Foundation, he had stored and locked up the funds under a password as long as the other Overseers know. Which they do, but can’t decipher the language or how he even made it a password to the vaults.

The Foundation then had no choice but to have Farhan be the Overseer, but none except Hast found anything wrong with it as long as he had continued to abide by the Articles.
Large investigations began on the SCU and Site personnel to find other entities living amongst them and sure enough, there had been several found and detected. Most were just removed of their position and let go, while the rest were protected under Farhan who had written an amendment to the article himself to protect the positions and well beings of all foreign planet beings who only don’t bring harm, but seek refuge from the wars beyond.
Johnathon Lawrence declines this as any dangerous being could claim to be such a refugee, but the amendment is still pending.

The Architect was later discovered to not be just a single planet, but actually several. Ranging to 12 in total. As each are large vaults for the mechanical army, they surround the very known worlds where the Foremakers had took rule. The entire series takes place within the surrounding architect vaults, which is called the known worlds whereas everything beyond the Architect is too dangerous even for Foremakers to venture forth. It takes beings like Eldern to pass through.

The worlds beyond the Architect are home to many other beings such as the One without name, the large planet eating biomass. Subject: 009 is another entity to be theorized of being beyond the Architect.

There are large mechanical cities on the surface of each Architect structure, although some of the structures have actually became the core of planets themselves such as the Imperidem Empire which resides their large military based on the technology of the Architect.

The mechanical cities are massive automated mechs that were designs to safe guard the vault from any trespassers who didn’t wield the key, but some have actually left their respective structures to other planets. They are simply too large to fight humans and standard Foremakers since some are almost as large as Titanius and larger.
The Council of Foremakers didn’t pay much attention to the Architect at all, but the mechanical cities were much older than the army itself. And they were already activated at one time unlike the army which won’t activate until the end of the reign of Foremakers.

The cities were actually the standard soldiers of the Architect, used to fight much larger beings, before the new age.
I forgot the being before Eldern’s name that the Architect was first used on, but his standard body size was much larger than that of a human. Alongside the Guardians of Mordil which were like stone monoliths, but roughly the size of around 1 kilometer to 3 kilometers in height. Much smaller, but they also had powerful abilities. There were about 34 Guardians of Mordil total. Each representing a faction of Mordil and most were killed or naturally dies over the many, thousands of years until the new age. Only one remains.

The body sizes of beings in the old world were much larger than the new world. Forgicaft saw witness of this where he saw a being even larger than the Architect itself and harnessed it’s metal like body to create the Forge where the Star titans are made, replicates the soldiers of the old world. Only one Architect structure is active as it slowly creates and army to fit the new world, meaning it’s still being controlled by someone. The other 11, technically 10 since one was brutally damaged during past wars, all contain mechanical cities that were never deployed.

Insikus, the Foremaker of Death was one of the few non-pure Foremakers that actually got to survive after the collapse of Eldern.

Although Justin Hawk was human, he still could have been targeted by the mechanical army when it activated, but he had lost his Premaker ability when he time jumped, alongside the other human who was the Foremaker of Strength. They both had survive because they lost their power.

Insikus was the only Foremaker that was a literally item, a sword. The blade could separate into four long stilts and the hilt of the sword contained an eye where it joined the blade. The metal itself is unknown, but etched on the metal in ancient text, Death.
He could technically walk around as a being on his own, he normally lies dormant and could only be properly used by a wielder.

The sword would just ghost right through any other being, but instantly killing any Foremaker. It would inherit that Foremakers ability, but since it’s a sword, it can’t really use it, so the power is considered lost.
Also, because it’s a sword of unknown material, it’s unsure how it can be destroyed. At least not by traditional means. Insikus still has a sentient mind and flees from death like most other creatures.

When the mechanical army killed the Foremakers, Eldern immediately was killed as well even though a few Foremakers still remained. Since his soul was broken up into each of his creations, there wasn’t enough to hold his soul and he was then, killed.

The mechanical army didn’t plan to look for a sword, just beings who contained power of an outside world. Inanimate objects don’t emit power as much as a living being.

But when Eldern died, he became Insikus the cursed Steel. He was able to harm other creatures, but since he no longer had the personality of Eldern, he became something sinister and had a blood l.ust for war. But as a sword, he can’t do it on his own. He is still able to absorb powers and abilities of his enemies, but are mostly dulled or lost because, again, it’s just a sword.

At some point, Hawk ends up inheriting the blade after the fall of Eldern, but Insikus is more of a hassle than a true weapon. Hawk even goes as far as to threaten the literal blade that he would give him to the moonspores which can only be killed by light and would surely kill Insikus and consume him. So Insikus makes somewhat of a compromise to keep himself alive.

I’m having an issue on the forums where it won’t let me post anything.

It seems to work here, for some reason, it kept bugging out on other discussions.

That’s not good. Maybe you have this discussion page cached in your computer. Try resetting the Wi-Fi router you’re using?

It seems to be working for now. Not sure what’s wrong. I couldn’t post on the otc.

The humans are still quite oblivious to the Foremakers existence, even while they contain one of the fragments of the Foremaker of Chaos.

Originally, I had the story pan out where the Foremaker of Chaos planned to use humans as a weapon against other Foremakers, since they are the only ones that can be used in Subject: 10. It doesn’t make sense why it couldn’t be used for other species of creatures since it also works on inanimate objects and whatever you place inside.

So the Foremaker of Chaos, also known as Subject: 000 still purposely got himself caught to study the human emotions, but also because he was looking for a specific person. Justin Hawk.
As I stated in the summary a while ago, the Xactepticus, the Foremaker of Chaos, isn’t inherently evil, or at least not towards humans. He wants to preserve the various species that were native of the known worlds and remove Eldern, such as removing the Foremakers from it, including himself.

He heard of some strange power had moved across the worlds and made its way to Earth, where it stayed for some time until Hawk was then inherited it, alongside the Foremaker of Darkness.
Voidhicus didn’t even possess such power and it wasn’t even seen until the next successor had awakened. Something far older than the Foremakers.
Justin Hawk was just recently an SCU soldier and was supposed to be transferred from Site: 006 to Site: 012, where Subject: 000 was at. There was some delay so Xactepticus had managed to release a few entities from containment and started the Site: 012 Incident. Hoping it would expedite the transfer process, he only planned for the entities to stay loose inside the facility, but one in particular manages to escape and free some others as well. Subject: 009. The Ceramic Skull feared Subject: 000, because he knew they were very similar, not of this world, but that’s what he fears, because he doesn’t know of his past or how he got here.
Subject: 000 didn’t realize who the Ceramic Skull was, but saw that he broke the plan and instead of sending soldiers into Site: 012, they were dispatched across the United States to contain and terminate any loose entities.
Since the Wystan Program was under wraps and was unknown to the rest of the Foundation, Subject: 000 didn’t know about it either. Wystan refuses to transfer any trained guards from Site: 006 to any other facility in hopes of preventing any leaks on the trials, so Hawk was never going to Site: 012. After the termination Order and Hawk gained dementia, Subject: 000 thought he was still an SCU so he remained in Site: 012 as he hoped he would be transferred eventually, only to later find out he was considered a 10-B and an enemy to the Foundation. At first he didn’t mind, cause that means he was then inherited the Foremaker Ability, but he still couldn’t leave Site: 012 since he has some manipulative abilities, he could access a lot of Earth’s information on other creatures and if any other Foremakers were present. All the while, Scribe is on his way, since Hawk was powerful, he figured he would hold out until then.
Xactepticus knew that Justin Hawk would be the key to outlasting Eldern despite being a Foremaker himself and guide the world after. He had split his body into 10 total fragments mostly because he had already killed so many other Foremakers to reunite Eldern that it would damage him to contain or use too many abilities in a single moment, so he created his own Foremakers as an exact copy of himself, only to have their own respective physical traits, all resembling a humanoid mask as a head.
Each fragment was searching the various worlds in search of the origin of the power as it was definitely not of Earth. After Subject: 000, which this fragment was never named or spoken of, was killed by Justin Hawk after being manipulated by the Foremaker of Sight, Xactepticus then returned in the form of Scribe, who was the closest Fragment at the time to try and persuade Hawk from fulfilling Cabenus’ plan, before he was stopped by the Foremaker of Strength and the time jump began.
Subject: 000 was hoping to at least get ahold of Hawk before Cabenus did, but he never expected him to team up through some Elites who were just on some recon operations.

Turns out the Elites, like Orion, the Magician, Crystal, and Thanatos were originally on Earth to find Justin Hawk and return him to Cabenus. Although they didn’t know what he looked like and Orion even attempted to kill Hawk thinking he was a spawn of Xactepticus, but still taking him to Cabenus anyway. Even though Orion was a commander of the Elites, he was only in charge of his squad. Being one of the most powerful, he was never informed of Cabenus true intentions or else he would have refused to retrieve Hawk.

I’ve been currently working on a massive summary of just about everything to the story, including most events, characters, and the overall plot line.

It’s currently on a google doc and I wouldn’t mind sharing it with anyone who wants to know the story, but I won’t for several reasons.

Mostly due to security reasons. I know most of you won’t steal or directly use content for your own purpose, but I also don’t want the entire story to be freely accessed by anyone.
Another is that it will explain just about everything and I don’t want to spoil a lot of the story. Most of the stuff in the summary won’t be directly mentioned in the book series, but slowly revealed. I may also have many short stories and maybe other novels that are aside of the main series to help explain other characters point of views and other events that aren’t referenced in the story.

Also not sure if anyone has played the indie game, Silent Age, but it, so far, has the best representation on how the entire timeline system works.

Basically humanity is threatened to go extinct by a time machine experiment, going into the future and bringing back a common flu, but since the time is like 1970, this particular flu was developed yet and it would wipe out humanity.
One janitor ends up discovering a spare time machine. Goes in the future to find the world a desolate wasteland devoid of human life, but nature has taken over. He finds a Russian spy who tried to steal the time machine and take it back to the motherland, but he ended up stuck in the future and can’t return. He had caught the flu and was dying so he ended up giving the player, the janitor, a way to escape and he returns back to his time.
When he returns, he was also infected with the flu so he freezes himself in a cryogenic chamber to avoid infecting anyone.

The janitor wakes up near present day which has the technology to ward the flu and found it strange how he had a strand of flu that wouldn’t be discovered until the 2000s, but he was frozen since 1970.
Anyway because of his sacrifice he had saved all of humanity and revealed a new future.

If any of that makes sense. It’s kind of confusing and a little cheesy, but that’s kind of how the timeline in the series works.

Basically in the current situation, the world will b ruled under a dictator and fallen apart. (Also even worse things than I have mentioned will happen as well).
As the known worlds collapses, Hawk and the Foremaker of Strength are sent into the future to see the kind of damage that would take place, they eventually return to their own world and change everything to prevent it, such as activating the Architect Structures.

The only thing is, that there’s also an ton of lore that aligns with the first future where the words decay under a dictator. Such as the Order core destroying the foundation, the reinitiated Wystan Program, the Foremakers still alive.
And another detail I just recently added is that the same species that Eldern was, many, many more of them all enter the known worlds. They all are in search of something, just like Eldern and the entity before him.

So far, I think I have a solid story concept, but now after 2-3 years of writing concepts and ideas for it, I may start working and reworking on the book series.

I’ve been working on a super large and polished summary, that means a complete overhaul of the character lists.

That means a lot of characters are gonna be rearranged into new categories. Such as Subject: 001, the Suffering Man, is now one of the first 10-B’s and there’s a blank spot for Subject: 001.
A lot of the ideas on the other discussion and unofficial designs will most likely be used to fill up these spots. Also, a lot of the elites, like Tocar, Crystal, Magician, and others won’t be considered Subjects since they have never been contained or ever sighted by SCU. Orion was sighted many times, so he’s still considered a Subject, alongside the Clockmaker since he was dumb enough to get captured.
I don’t know if I’ll be able to send the list, since it’s mostly going to be on tables for organization, but I may get around with a new updated list of entities for anyone seeking.

Have you finished the story? and, are you ever going to group them all up into one book?
I’m asking this for two reasons, first, it’s a little hard to keep track of the story with each page being it’s own post.
Second, the story, from what I’ve read, seems really interesting.

So, the story/series is gonna be in many parts. So far I have about 5 main books plan, with 2 more including stories of characters outside of the main plot, and many, many short stories.

Think of like Star Wars or War Hammer 40K, how they have huge expansive world building, but most of it is in the form of several pieces.

Making the story is easy, with all of the events going on and keeping track of characters, but what’s difficult is a timeline. So, I have to consider the pasts and futures of each event, character, and planet and how it all contributes to the overall continuing story.

The summary I’m writing contains literally everything. (Mostly everything). Every mention of characters, worlds, from the birth of Mordil until… whenever I decide to end the series.

This document also contains every subject, Foremaker, SCU, Overseer, Elite, Planet, Empire, and everything else I ever thought of.

I would like to share it, but it’s gonna be the size of an entire book itself, but it helps pan out how I plan the series and for how each book/story will connect to each other. Everything I’ve said on here is all apart of on large story and I mostly used the forums as a journal to jot down most of my ideas and concepts so a lot of the stuff on here won’t be in the final draft.
