Just got back from a weekend camping trip with me and my dad and while i was there i had the idea of quick reviews since I often get requested to review small or barely finished games and since my old game station was extremely in-depth reviews it felt like a waste of time.
Would you still be down to do longer reviews? I’m working on a project, in which the demo releases in the next few weeks (that I hope), and I was planning on getting reviews for it.
Although it’s a demo, there will be quite a lot of gameplay. It will basically be a full game, but will be limited in certain categories until I update it more.
this game literally makes no sense and neither do any of the hotkeys
Art: 1/5
Gameplay: 1/5
Sounds: 2.5/5
Difficulty/Balance: 1.5/5
Original/Creativity: 3/5
hotkeys make no sense and are annoying, the 2nd level seems impossible, it’s really not fun in general, i shouldn’t have to look in the desc every time i want to do something
I always fix glitches but this one seemed like a cool mind puzzle that required the player to notice the game’s flaws (nothing is perfect) and use them to their advantage to beat the level.
Suggestions:
Sword slashes shouldn’t be solid. Add a bgr. Try to add more levels and enemies. Don’t edit the basic flowlab blocks and make them into blocks. Use a tileset, not just a singular object. Has a bit more work to be done but this could definitely be rated a B in the future.
