I assumed it was a chicken just by the title, lol.

Better calm down or you make me release my power of the true will of lightning, unlock my third eye, use 1,000 Heart beats per second, and use my snake sprit animal form.

I’m not really against the role playing, cause it looks dumb and its fun to read through, but I would recommend moving this to the off topic or someone on here could take this as offense, lol.

Stop fighting on random topics, if you want to argue, do so on the off-topic channel :upside_down_face:

OK I’m making a role play post

I’m tired of going off topic to respond to posts like these, but we already had a debate to stick to one off topic channel and since role play is off topic that would make two. Which everyone agreed to one so idk if people would appreciate that enough.

Fine

looks neat, I really like the head and hair! it’s a fun stylistic choice! regarding the colors and the shading, a flat fade from a light color to a darker color makes it look a little flat. use the shading to show that the character has some volume to em, mess around with the shape of the shadows. maybe work on the legs and feet a little, they look pretty stiff and the feet look like they belong to oscar pistorius. don’t be afraid to use references to get things like anatomy correct! you might also want to make the whole body facing in the same direction. if the character is looking straight at the camera, make the hips a little smaller and make the feet point in our direction. if it’s toward the side, make the opening of the collar turn to face it, and move the legs closer together for perspective.
It’s looking pretty neat regardless, you’re making cool stuff!

Where did you learn all of this? Art class?

yeah smh you guys. if you don’t want to pay attention to the class, then go play out in the hallway, but stop bothering the folks who are here to learn (:
(I don’t think I’m being very professional but I like the analogy)

well, I am in fact studying digital art at university and I’ve learned a lot of stuff there, but I also just really like art and I notice things that make things look better. been doing pixel art for a few years now, so I also have a lot of practice. there are also gazillions of tips and tutorials on youtube or twitter or anywhere on the internet.

I’m just a YouTube junkie tbh :joy:.

might also be worth mentionning that I didn’t take any art related class in high school. before going to uni, all my art was doodles in sketchbooks and small pixel art pieces on an app on my phone
