I just deployed an update to the editor a few minutes ago. I dubbed it “The Procrastination Update” because it contains all sorts of stuff that I wanted to get in a long time ago:
- Background behaviors
- Camera zoom
- Music between levels (set object to “keep between levels”)
- Extractor now can extract an obect’s unique id number
I also modified the way the behavior window displays running objects:
Now when you click on an object to open the behavior window, when you click play in that window only that object’s running behaviors are displayed
When you open the behavior window from an object in the library and click play, then all objects of that type are displayed (this is the way the behavior window works now).
Also, the behavior window gained a small indicator label at the bottom to tell you which one you are seeing.
- Some people had sound upload problems
- Full screen shader problems
- Memory leaks when destroying some objects
- Child objects not inheriting click triggers
- Behavior block run order not always updating immediately after dragging
As always, please let me know if you encounter any issues with this release!
So, from my understanding it’s out of debug mode?
It’s out of debug mode! I’ve wanted to see this ever since I heard about it
Thanks for the update, Grazer! Yet another amazing edition to Flowlab.
And yes, @DinoDev, you no longer need to use debug.
Alrighty, animating my background grass finally haha!
Everybody: Cool, now I can make animated backgrounds
Thank you so much @grazer!!! Once I actually get a computer (sad times ) I’ll finally make my agario ripoff, hopefully without crashing all of flowlab again
Thanks so much!
Ahhhhhh! I’ve been waiting for this! Dang, and camera zoom, nice one @grazer thank you so much!
Holy crap camera zoom and BG BEHAVIORS WHAT WHAT?!!
Oh yeah, and the behavior window thing
@grazer , I just want to say that you are a fricking madlad. One update after the other: controller update, shader update, and now this! Keep up the amazing work, my friend.
yay i can put background animations for clockwork glitch :)))))
Very nice, I bought the indie subscription just a few days ago and I really enjoy the engine!
Do you have any plans for making a multiplayer for the exported version?
That is a curious question
Multiplayer for exported version???
I’m confused on what camera zoom is. Could someone explain?
It zooms in on the level, instead of you having to resize everything
I still don’t understand but I’m going to say it’s good
