Technically he’s not the Premaker yet, but I call him that instead of Foremaker of Darkness, Light, Dreams, and whatever abomination he accumulated after killing Subject: 000 and (Unknown).
I would be very surprised to hear of anyone knows who this is. It doesn’t effect the story much to actually give the name. But this is the Third ever human to be a Foremaker, and he’s from the Scepter Foundation or at least used to be.
I’ll give a major hint, Site: 006 Incident. Not to be confused with 012 which was an entity breach. 006 was a creature within the Foundation that attacks, but it was within the foundation years after the Wystan Program was trialed.
Now that I’ve spent quite a bit on the lore outside of Earth, it’s time I start working on Earthly events and wars.
I’ve started working on the governmental structure of the Foundation and revising a ton of details that before weren’t stated clearly.
Overseers are basically the figureheads of the entire Foundation, also known as the Council. Most of the sites are equally distributed between the Overseers and technically, for example, Johnathon Lawrence isn’t just the Overseer of Site: 012 as he resides over most of the containment based facilities. But his main office is established at site: 012.
Jessica Kaelea is the Overseer of Site: 005 and she mostly controls the documentation and data stored by the foundation.
Walter William is the Overseer or Site: 003 and is mostly in charge of field containment procedures. Development of weapons and technology such as cells and holding chambers to further increase the structure of the facilities and protection of the personnel. Because of the technological advances of cells and other technology to contain entities with specific behaviors and needs, he also is in charge of the live human convicts who were transported from national prisons to be subjects under the foundation. More serious crimes were met with more serious trials with more deadly entities. Although any minor crime prisoner serves his selected time through the foundation may he released of custody by the nation responsible.
Earl Wystan is the Overseer of Site: 006 and is mostly in charge of the experimentation and scientific studies. Alongside Walter William, his division also aids in the development of newer technologies and usefulness of using Subjects and Artifacts to legally contain or aid soldiers into containing further entities. Later, Earl Wystan was removed of his position and sentenced to a lifetime of prison for his crimes against the Foundation, but he went missing.
Soon replaced with Rylee Leitner. First an animistrator of Site: 006, but replaced Wystans position.
George Hast is the Overseer of several locations as he is the head officer of the Termination Division. Basically they are in charge of soldier distribution between the facilities and nations who are apart of the Scepter Foundation Program. He also has the power to terminate or issue termination orders against any rebelling personnel or threatening entity.
Nathan Oursler is the Overseer of all medical facilities and head doctor of all rehabilitation and established hospitals under the Foundation. These facilities help not only help injured soldiers of the SCU, but help treat and rehabilitate any citizen(s) who were exposed or injured by any entity encounter.
Unsure yet, but there will be a 7th Overseer in charge of the treasury and funds of the Foundation, alongside managing the construction division of the facilities. Will most likely be referenced to Site: 019 as it’s the current and under constructed site at the moment.
Each site has its own administrator which is the head official of the facility. If any Overseer is ever removed or killed by unnatural or natural causes during their term, the rest of the Council can decide to elect a site administrator to either temporary fill the position or permanent claim it. The High Chieftain of security will then take control of both the site admin and chief of the security force of the facility until further elections can be held.
If any site or series of sites are threatened by breaches or by national threats, the Council and remaining Administrators are allows for respond to the actions without filling the positions until a more peaceful time is available to do so.
I also started working on the Foundations Articles of Code where is lists the several things the Foundation is allowed or can’t do.
Article one for example explains the several things regarding national affairs and their wars. The Foundation won’t take part in any war, nor will it use any contained creature or artifact to gain unfair advantage in said wars. The national government that gave consent to the Foundation’s installment can’t force the foundation into war or wage war against other facilities under the foundation that are of other nations.
If any facility is threatened by rebelling parties or civilians, the foundation can executors their rights under article 5, the right of termination. This also applies if any war a nation is apart of starts to threaten a facilities structure or possible breach of containment, the SCU can and will defend the facility against any party, regardless of alignment.
And there’s gonna be about 13 (approximately) or so articles. Most explaining the rules of containment, no facility can be search on behalf of the national government without consent of the Council, and much more.
That looks like a lot on mobile, lol, and the story may seem very boring at this point since it’s mostly the government of the Foundation and how it reacts to other national governments.
Since the Foundation is a global organization, there are many rules stating that it basically can’t favor any one nation over another.
This technically isn’t important to the story, but for those who are into serious world building, these background details seriously help make the story seem somewhat more realistic. Aside from the otherworldly conquests.
To increase the concepts and story of Earth, I just thought of a new short (or possible long) series about a war soldier known as Alexander Odell.
First there’s a quick backstory of his experience as a veteran in the US army, and after the death of his wife, he left to return home. After some time, he got an invitation to join the ranks of the Foundation because of his excellence during the military.
After basic training and several other training and knowledge assessments, he became an SCU. Unknown of what the true horrors are, he eventually comes into contact with an anomalous being. Which will be Moonspores. A fungus that can infect just about any humanoid vessel and control it through artificially grown muscle fibers around the body. If it’s an organic being, it will take control of the persons nervous system along with motor functions. Basically severing the brain from the rest of the body while keeping the victim alive.
After open firing on several infected animals and civilians, they later call in a cleanup and containment squad to burn and cleanse the infected areas while containing any surviving infected hosts that were too damaged to move or were immobile by overgrowth.
After seeing the death of a fellow comrade combined with the memories of his wife, he forwarded his anger towards these creatures that shouldn’t exist.
Later on, he becomes the High chieftain of Site: 006. After the Incident had occurred, just about every member in the facility had been killed, including the Administrator, the Chieftain, and supposedly Earl Wystan. After reconstruction and an entire new staff, he was appointed to the new site where he would then be assigned to lead missions to hunt down and exterminate surviving members of the Wystan Program.
I may have a reference where he had a possible heading and he lead a small team to New York at a rehabilitation center where he then met with Dr. Nathaniel and Overseer Lawrence.
That’s when they coincidentally found Justin Hawk who had been going to the rehab center to help regain his memory. As a victim of the Wystan program and his identity under a name he thought was his, he had lived two years unnoticed until the name “Justin Hawk” was read to him and he immediately remembered.
Alexander then leads his team to the apartment complex where Hawk was kept to find him warp away after being shot by Lawrence. (The beginning of my first story, New Caben)
After seeing the behavior if Justin Hawk and his natural instincts to run away from death, he realizes the Subject: 10-Bs weren’t much different than they were. Even his hate for such creatures vanished when he saw him.
Later he is then required to team with an android known as Subject: 10-A-031 (I believe) which is Soundboard. Soundboard was one of the machines created by Subject: 010 and was illegally made during the Wystan Program. Although the personnel responsible were killed off, the 10-As were very helpful as they could be remotely controlled instead of evolving human behavior which can change by emotions. Humans were much harder to control which made them dangerous.
He then is lead on a lead to hunt down Brad and Emilia. Former head officers on Site: 006 who were apart of the Wystan Program. Brads ability was known as mind bending properties and allowed him to move solid matter with the extend of his minds capability. Although he was limited by how much mass and object weighed.
Emilia’s abilities were still unknown and she is considered a Sub-2 threat. (Which is powerful for a human, more stronger than Brad.)
The rest of the details are not yet constructed, maybe Alexander Odell eventually comes across these two and realizes that they are only trying to survive, just like they were. And maybe proposes a rejection on the live termination order.
This is just a concept, but I would like to make new characters on earth that somehow relates to other stories and events. Such as his involvement with Hawks timeline at the very beginning of New Caben.
Maybe he has another appearance in a short story I plan to write about Brad and Emilia on the run from the Foundation.
Maybe he encountered the Other Side cult at some point.
The thing about this kind of series is that I can make and add new characters all day long and their story, one way or another, will align alongside another.
Just gotta say, I love reading through these mini-stories you post here, they’re great
that man is like doom slayer.
no…
he is the Moon(spore) Slayer!
the survivor!
the man to angry to die!
He never actually killed any of the moonspores or the moonwanders as the fungus can’t be killed by blunt force. You can fire a bullet into a victims brain, but the fungus still has complete control of all of your muscles and artificial muscle fibers created by the fungus. The only way to kill one of the infected is to damage the host enough where the body is unable to function, like turning it to pudding with a 50 cal. Or using sunlight or fire based weapons to burn the fungus away. Sadly those who have been consumed by the fungus can’t ever return back. Even if in direct sunlight their brains are still severed from their bodies.
Kind of a harsh and cruel entity, which makes it all the more deadlier.
so you have to
RIP AND TEAR
in of order to defeat them
Not necessarily, unless they were to harm the vessel enough.
Insikus, The Foremaker of Death.
Years before when Eldern creates the Foremakers, he saw his creations thrive, although he was greatly worried about a rebellion.
Insikus was created far into the old world. Although, a Foremaker doesn’t necessarily have to be an organism, but any vessel that contains a fraction of Elderns soul.
Insikus is a hand held long sword that is forged of an unknown material, infused with the power of death. The sword has no effects on most organisms. The blade will just faze through them, but it has the power to instantly kill any Foremaker it touches.
When a Foremaker perishes by another being, the victor inherits their abilities. When killed by Insikus, the powers return back to Eldern so he can begin again.
The sword varies in size and shape as it accustomed itself to any user. Including humans and non-Foremaker entities. But it still has no effect even when used by non-Foremakers. Since the Foremakers themselves range in a variety of sizes, the sword was made to fit the hands of any willing and chosen Foremaker to defend Elderns will and kill any roque Foremaker that threatens the worlds. As you can tell in the story, this would have been very helpful, but the sword was never recovered after it was handed down to one of the most noble Foremakers for it to be lost from war or misplaced amongst treasures.
Insikus was a very powerful weapon and Eldern kept it away, hidden from the rest of the Foremakers in fear he would startle them. Only a few know of its existence, but it has been lost throughout time.
It’s not really sure if Premakers are effected by Insikus because it was really created to insta kill the original Foremakers in case anything happened, Eldern didn’t think about long term evolution as the Foremakers grew strangely apart as the generations went on. Soon Premakers formed and they are basically too impure to be directly of Eldern and are their own entities in a way.
There’s no way of ever knowing this as the sword is long gone, or is it?
Mith of Mordil. A wandering traveler of the cosmos.
Mordil was an ancient civilization that ages way past Eldern. It uses practices to create and inherit abilities of their ancestors much like the powers of Eldern, but these abilities are explained as other celestial beings.
This civilization died many generations ago as only a few members still exist. Mith being one of the last remaining Primust of their world. A Primust is like a priest in this culture.
It is theorized that it’s derived from another being such as Eldern or an ancestor of Eldern before his arrival. Eldern created Foremakers to inherit his power while this being chose subjects amongst various ancient civilizations to inherit them, but it is unsure if this celestial is related at all to Eldern.
Mith of Mordil seeks to find any remaining members of Mordil, but often spreads his history to any other adventurers who seek his knowledge.
His own abilities are currently unknown, but he possesses something similar to electrical currents. The ability to bend arcs and plasma from frictional or kinetic energy alongside electrical pulses in organic bodies.
So the entries for my schools creative writing magazine are due by this Friday and I was trying to think of some document themed outline to submit alongside the excerpt of my main story.
I had many different ideas, but none seemed very realistic. I tried writing the Articles of Code and the governmental structure of the Foundation, but I feel that would be very bland. Then I started writing the Termination Order issued by Johnathon Lawrence, but I don’t even know how that would even look. Although it would make a great prologue to the New Caben story by immediately explaining the arrest of Earl Wystan and the termination of all Subject: 010-B.
This has the be a very short document ranging from 1 to 2 pages since my other submission is 13 pages long. Which I’ll have to even cut that down. So I was trying to think of some sort of short document idea to write about. Since New Caben doesn’t follow the Scepter Foundation document outline and I had various people from last years tell me that I was quite creative when it came to the page outlines to make it seem like official government documents.
I thought of making it a Subject Document, but I wouldn’t know which one to make it over. Some of the many entities in New Caben aren’t even listed as Subjects and I thought of making a document over The Ceramic Skull, being my first ever entity of the series. But I already wrote a short story about him the year previously. I want to write something that can relate to my new story such as the Termination. Maybe a document over Subject: 010-B and then have a issued termination over them.
Like maybe a single page explaining what a Subject: 010-B is and then another page of a specific character that has already been killed off by the Foundation. Not entirely sure.
Anyone have any ideas?
I wish I could help but I’m completely behind in the lore of the the series because I have been so busy with my game and with school. I really need to catch up lol.
I think this is a good idea!
I assume by character you mean specific instance of 10-B
Like how Justin Hawk is considered Subject: 010-B-354 (I think that’s the right number, lol.)
I would have a document over one specific person and have a png of terminated going across the whole document. So it shows that specific person has been killed.
It’s an interesting idea, but it sounds like it would work.
Sadly there’s like so much that I haven’t even announced.
I’ve just been adding character ideas and concepts for the most part, but New Caben is gonna be officially the first novel of the series. Explaining Justin Hawk, a former SCU of Site: 006 who became a Subject: 010-B which are volunteers placed inside Subject: 010 and it gives them anomalous powers.
Johnathon Lawrence, CEO and overseer of Site: 012 issues a termination order and arrest of all participating personnel and kill all volunteers of Subject: 010 since they are too dangerous to wander freely.
He basically escapes the Foundation, gets injured and loses his memory and lives the next two years under the name of Jerold Beckett which was an ID of one of the soldiers he killed.
He actually lived right underneath of the Foundation nose by going to a Scepter Rehabilitation Facility for sickened civilians and SCU who came into contact with anomalous creatures. After two years of no memory, his real name is read aloud to him after conferencing with Lawrence and he went on the run when his memory came back to him.
He got shot by Lawrence before he teleported away and started relearning if his ability, but it quickly regenerated.
He teleported outside of a small town where he rented a motel room for the night. He then was jumped by Orion, an Elite Commander of New Caben. He thought he was a being of Chaos and sought to kill him, but after the previous Foremaker of Darkness telepathically spoke to both of them, explaining who Hawk really was, he teleported away again.
He met up with Spiratus, Foremaker of Dreams who lifted his consciousness into a separate physical form and sent him to Jkher, the Land of the Sols.
He then fought Solacis, Foremaker of Light and using the extent of his power for the first time, he wiped three of the several suns on the planet and killed Solacis.
Justin Hawk was never a true volunteer of the Wystan Program or Subject: 010. But he was actually killed in the process by the machine, but revived by the Foremaker of Darkness and he inherited his ability.
Now Hawk is the Foremaker of Day and Night, making him very powerful already.
Once he returns back to Earth, he is met with the Elites of New Caben. Orion, Crystal, Thanatos, and The Magician. All on Earth to hunt Subject: 010-Bs as well and other threatening entities. Which is why Orion tried to hunt Hawk earlier.
They go to New Caben to meet wi to Cabenus who then trains Hawk for a series of Months on learning his abilities. Then they hear word of a cultist group on Earth called, The Other Side. Lead by a leader named, Eternal, they sought off to find and kill them, hopefully finding information in Subject: 000 who is apparently the Foremaker of Chaos. (A very bad dude)
They were brutally beaten by the Other Side and barely escaped after The Ceramic Skull showed up and singlehanded killed Thanatos from self Defense and half of the cultists before departing. He searches for a purpose and has no clue on the world around him so his actions are just impulses.
Hawk and the remaining members then set North after stealing an STC or a Scepter Transport Carrier and heads to Site: 012 and kills Subject: 000. Which is quite the battle.
The second story is called Magnus Falling which has yet to be in production. But the whole story is about the fear of a massive being coming to Earth known as Magnus. Millions of years ago, Subject: 003 was sent to Earth by Forgicaft, the Foremaker of Technology. He was to observe human behavior and kill them is seen fit. Subject: 003 or the Titanius refused the order and Magnus was sent.
Everyone feared Magnus to arrive as he was the largest entity on Earth, even a kilometer taller than Titanius. But he never set foot on Earth before Titanius killed him regardless. Before that, the real threat happens from an entity called Unknown. Another form of the Foremaker of Chaos. So chaos has many different forms and Subject: 000 was just one of them.
Anyway, Hawk teams up with a familiar character who was of Site: 006, I won’t spoil the name, but he used to have quite the say in the Foundation structure. And they fight this being. Since they were moving faster than light, they ended up traveling forward in time by mistake and Hawk and [Redacted] return in the year 2500 where everything had changed drastically. Although they only jumped timelines and it revealed just a possible outcome of the war, but they return back later to their original time later.
The rest is still jumbled, but it gets more intense as the Story of the Foremakers unfolds.
I want to focus more on Earth though where the original story was set. I may have a story in betwee Magnus Falling and the third story to reveal a rivaling corporation known as Order Corp. who specialize in weaponizing anomalous entities versus containing them like the Foundation. It was secretly ruled by the Foremaker of War who was chaos aligned and as the years went on, he took over Earth. Killed Forgicaft and became Foremaker of Mechanical War and created massive warbringers to bring ■■■■ across the rest of the worlds. Such as New Caben falling and New Order arose. Hundreds of other nations and Foremakers were destroyed. The last remaining stronghold was the Ghastrion Empire. Home of the last remaining Foremakers at the time.
There’s a lot of details that aren’t explained and contribute heavily in the world building such as One Without Name, The Collection, The harvester, and many other entities as well. This is the basic outline for the moment.
Sorry for the long novel, lol. That’s probably the shortest summary I’ve written.
I have a more detailed one on google docs, but it alone is like 10 pages, but it includes a list of the Foremakers and important characters as well.
Story concept idea. End of Days.
Probably based around a human survivor.
This will take place thousands of years after the New World and the Foremakers, The Order, The Foundation everything has been extinct. The Order came across a forbidden planet and contracted a rare virus that soon spread out throughout ever nation, collapsing the entire Order. With very few beings left to inherit Foremaker abilities, most of the died without successors.
This human is apart of a crew on an old fighter carrier of the Order, but the logo was worn off years ago. The crew inside all perished from the disease but their bodies still remained in the cargo bay. One member in particular, froze himself in the cryo vault to preserve his life when he contracted it.
The main character is somehow immune, owning a rare gene that prevented the contraction of the bacterial virus. But being one of the last organisms alive, he was searching the world for anyone else. Upon arriving on Earth, Titanius is seen buried amongst massive sand mounds with his head, shoulders and a raised arm visible. A ballistic missile was lodged into his head with various other craters and damages across the visible parts.
As he travels he comes across a lush part of the planet where civilization once use to be. A city of some kind, or what’s left of it. It was one of the capsule cities the Order had created for the remaining humans when Earth was first conquered. But there was no one left. The massive walls almost leveled to the ground as nature devoured the remains. Earth was once dying, but now reborn.
He landed the carrier and stepped abroad the planet. The air was still toxic from radiation, but the plantation grew an immunity from it.
He stumbled across the outer regions of the city where an old stone foundation was set. Most of the structures were hard to see from the vegetation.
As he was walking, he fell down a covered stairwell and fell to the lower levels of the building. He got up and turned his flashlight on to reveal that the building was still in tact. He walked about to notice a familiar Trident symbol barely etched onto the faded wall. With a title in a strange language written underneath. It was of English, but the language had died many years ago.
He continued walking through until he found an area lined with red lines. The place was a prison of some sort. Most of the cells were empty some contained corpses or fossilized remains of strange beings.
One cell remained closed. The room appeared to be full of water with a shattered mug floating amongst the liquid. The door kept it in.
He turned the corner to hear a noise down the hall. He quickly panicked and pulled out his gun to find a pair of red eyes down one of the halls. The figure was shown when the light gazed over him. He was completely covered in a black liquid with a white mask or skull for a head. There was a small hole on the top of the skull with versions stress cracks around the jaw.
The being walked away and disappeared through a hole in the wall. The character then approaches the cell door it was observing to find the numbers 009 printed across the top. The rest of the words were illegible.
He tried returning back to the stairway after seeing the creature, but got lost along the way. Then he found a room that was cleared out as if someone had made camp previously. Notes covered the walls and a suit of repurposed SCU armor was laid against the wall. The notes were more modern and could be read unlike the rest of the facility. Most of the notes were faded, but a few remained legible.
Some explained of a powerful being who was the supposed savior of the world, but never returned. A few others explained vague history of what had happened throughout the last hundreds of years.
This is another concept and most likely won’t be a short story at all, but it introduces a third timeline of Hawk leaving his time and he never arrived regardless. Or arrived much later in time. So the world decayed without him. I might doodle a bit on this design, but it definitely add some serious depth to the series as it shows the possible end of everything.
